Growing up is fun..BUT can also be STRESSFUL. It’s important for you to aim for good health. Being healthy is important, especially for your body. Your body needs to be healthy and fit to live a longer life. By fit I mean keeping yourself healthy and happy, not fit where nowadays that means looking skinny and making sure you have that “hot,” body. It’s 2016, if people want to judge let them, all that matters is that you are happy and living life to the fullest. I want to make sure that is happening and by that I’ll mention my options for a healthy body. Moving away from home was challenging because I wouldn't eat home cooked meals like I use to & lets just say my cooking isn’t great. With school and work, I don’t have the time to neither cook nor have time to go to the gym. Luckily, I have found ways to making sure I am able to keep my body healthy and happy. I pick a day on the weekend to cook a meal that is enough to eat for the whole week and it also allows me to save money so I don’t wind up spending it at different restaurants. Let me help you! For different meal options you can do a meal prep (chicken, rice, and veggies), salad(chicken mix with mayo and corn), sandwich(wheat bread, ham, lettuce, tomato, spinach), or a burrito(tortilla, beans, rice). For breakfast, I normally make a smoothie with a mixture of fruits with milk and I eat a yogurt with granola as well. I love eating bagels so I normally have that when I have much more time to eat. Make sure you’re eating for breakfast because it’s the most important meal of the day. For lunch, I eat a meal that is made from the weekend prior. Dinner, you can also eat the meal that you’ve prepared for the week. Now lets talk about snacks, my favorite snacks are granola bars that are specifically from Trader Joe’s(dark chocolate nut bars), yogurt(key lime pie) which is found at many stores, cereal(frosted flakes), and apples with peanut butter. FUN FACT: Apples are a great snack when craving something sweet! I hope all this information helps you take a step towards achieving a healthy and happy body/lifestyle.
